Task

The company Grohe AG redesigned its whole electroplating section. The finished chrome-plated armatures should be deposited in bins at the end of the process. Then these bins should be conveyed to the automatic small parts storage over a distance of approx. 70 m. In line with the requirements the chrome-plated parts have to be transported gently and without collision.

Solution

The places of removal of the finished chrome-plated parts were designed for flexible use. Thus the bins are automatically fed into the main conveying section at different points. Removal takes place automatically via conveyor system. The sections where the bins are fed in are surveyed by sensor lights in order to avoid collisions of the bins.
