Task

The company W. Armbruster Teigwaren GmbH has extended its production by two production machines. At the end of the production lines the finished goods (noodles packed in cartons) have to be automatically palletized.

Solution

Both production lines were equipped with an automatic palletizer with pallet magazines for empty pallets. Each palletizer can pallet up to five levels which have to be preset. The paper board containers at the end of the production line are automatically transported to the palletizer and aligned in the correct position per level. The pallet level is automatically formatted via pusher device.

When the pallet level is complete, it is placed on the pallet via palletizer. According to the predefined pallet height, palletizing of 5-6 levels takes place. When the pallet is completely loaded, it is transported out of the palletizer and made available for removal. The removal section at the palletizer has an accumulating capacity of two pallet places. As soon as the loaded pallet is removed, an empty pallet is automatically separated from the empty pallet magazine and conveyed to the palletizing area. The palletizing sequence starts anew.
