Task

The company Grabower built a new warehouse for finished goods which should be connected with the production area via automatic conveyor system. An automatic wrapping system should be integrated in the transport line in order to wrap the pallets for safety purposes during the transport.

Solution

The pallets, coming from the production, are positioned on the conveyor and forwarded to the automatic pallet wrapping system. Presetting of the destination track 1 – 3 is effected while the pallet is put into position. Subsequent to wrapping, the pallet is automatically conveyed via transfer carriage to the gravity roller conveyors 1 – 3, depending on the preset destination. Here the pallets are accumulated by accumulation pressure (accumulation capacity per section approx. 12 pallets). From here the pallets are removed via lift truck and conveyed to the storage.
