Task

The company Kurt Obermeier GmbH & Co. KG started up a hall for a new filling system in Duisburg. The feed of empty casks on euro- or industry pallets as well as protect-containers MX100 ought to be automated via new pallet conveyor system. The filled casks on pallets or the protect-containers ought to be provided on an accumulating section.

Solution

In the warehouse the required empty casks are positioned on a conveyor line via lift truck. On this conveyor line the pallets are loaded with empty casks respectively protector-containers are automatically transported to the filling station. The conveyor line also serves as an accumulating line. Before reaching the filling station the conveyor section is accessible, so that the operator can open the caps of the casks. Subsequent to these works the casks are conveyed to the filling station. Here automatic filling of liquids takes place. After completion the pallets leave the filling zone. Sealing of the casks is done at another accessible workplace. Then the pallets or containers are transported to the successive accumulating section via conveyor technology. Removal happens by means of lift truck.
