Task

The company PPS, manufacturer of plastic tanks for the food- and pharmaceutical industry, built a new production plant in

Switzerland

. In order to avoid lift trucks within the production area, removal of pallets had to be realized via automatic pallet conveyor system.

Solution

The incoming pallets from the production area are placed on

the pallet conveyor system and delivered to the automatic

film wrapper. There the pallets are automatically wrapped and subsequently conveyed from the production area to the warehouse. Here the pallets are sequence compressed, accumulated, removed via lift truck and stored. Shipping pallets are positioned on the conveyor system, transported to the canopied holding area and accumulated (accumulating capacity 1 complete truckload).
