Task

The company Wigo-Werk built a new storage for dangerous goods on its existing site. Due to the high pallet turnover per day the storage ought to be connected via automatic pallet conveyor system. The challenge was to bridge a transport way of at least 65 m in an economical way.

Solution

In the production area the pallets are placed on the conveyor system and delivered to a transfer carriage. The transfer carriage takes over the pallet and runs it over a distance of 65 m to the feed of the new storage for dangerous goods. There the pallet is handed over to a lifting station, compensation of height difference and delivery at the storage for dangerous goods follow up subsequently. The exterior conveyor technology was equipped with a protective housing by the customer.
